Mary Walsh Boatfield recently retired as President and CEO of Ability Partners agencies (CP Rochester, Happiness House, and Rochester Rehabilitation) and Ability Partners Foundation after 21 years of dedicated service. She is a highly accomplished and strategic executive with expertise in non-profit and healthcare leadership, as well as extensive experience in operations, finance, development, and fundraising. Mary is known for her advocacy of change, creativity, and innovation in developing services that cater to the needs of individuals and families in our communities. Her notable contributions include establishing non-certified transitional housing for individuals with disabilities, affordable housing options, and the creation of the Golisano Autism Center. With a B.S. degree from SUNY Geneseo and an M.S. in education/speech pathology from Nazareth College, Mary has specialized in the field of developmental disabilities for over four decades. She holds the titles of President Emeritus of Happiness House, Founder of Ability Partners, Inc., and is actively involved with The B. Thomas Golisano Foundation, CP Associations of New York State Developmental Disability Advocacy Team, and CP Associations of New York State Affiliate Board. Mary draws daily inspiration from her two daughters, Jillian and Jenna, as well as her grandson, Giovanni.
